About the project
Blowy is a mobile platform built for kiteboarders and windsurfers to help them discover the best riding locations, monitor wind conditions, and connect with other riders. The goal was to create an intuitive MVP focused on the essential needs of the community.
The project started from scratch with product research, user flows, wireframes, and interface design. The MVP combines weather data, interactive maps, community features, and spot discovery into a single experience. Every screen was designed to minimize friction, helping users quickly find suitable locations, check conditions, and organize sessions with other riders. The interface emphasizes clarity, speed, and outdoor usability while remaining flexible for future product growth.

Challanges
The main challenge was balancing a feature-rich product with the simplicity expected from an MVP. Riders needed quick access to critical information without navigating through unnecessary complexity.
Research showed that users primarily cared about three things: reliable wind information, fast access to nearby spots, and communication with the community. The challenge was organizing these priorities into a simple navigation structure while leaving room for future features such as trip planning, equipment management, events, and social interactions. Special attention was given to map usability, weather visualization, and minimizing the number of actions required before getting essential information.



Summary
The MVP successfully validated the product concept and demonstrated strong engagement during usability testing.
User testing showed 95% positive usability feedback, while early engagement exceeded initial expectations with approximately 40% higher user interaction than projected. The validated MVP established a scalable product foundation, enabling future expansion of community features, trip planning, equipment sharing, and advanced weather tools.
